Summer’s almost over and I’m hard at work on the third and final volume of my Barnstormers trilogy. I was hoping to have it done by now, but it’s taking me longer than expected. I’ve had such good response from the first two volumes that I am feeling a little extra pressure to come up with a good ending!
Unfortunately, that means that I won’t have all three volumes available to sell at the upcoming Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention. It’s still scheduled for September 9-12, 2021, and I will have a table there, piled high with all my books, Barnstormers and otherwise. Stop by and say hello if you’re going.
In other good news, the monthly Tamale Hut Café Reading Series is resuming on Sept. 18 after a long COVID-related hiatus. The web site should be updated any day now. I’m scheduled to be the featured reader in November. Maybe I can get Book Three done in time!
All the details of the stories I have in print are on the My Other Books page, and some short stories for you to read are on my Short Stories page, including the popular tales of the customers of the Adventure Comics Comics Emporium, and a little piece of fan fiction that I wrote over the summer featuring one of my favorite comedy teams. Check ’em out here.
Stay healthy. Stay safe. Wash your hands. Share your toilet paper stockpiles with people that you love. I hope to see you all when we resume our regularly scheduled lives, whenever that may be.
